Pray For Them is a side project of mine exploring what reclaiming your phone looks like.
At work, we've been building systems to change how humans interface with technology, and through that work, I realized I could solve a smaller problem for myself today.
This project comes from a personal but common problem: I'd wake up, reach for my phone, and start doomscrolling. To be clear, it is "productive" scrolling (email, Twitter, the news, et cetera), but still, I was starting out my day without taking a moment to appreciate my life.
A good friend of mine is embarking on a very challenging next chapter in the military, and speaking with them reminded me there are people in my life who need me to pray for them.
Pray For Them is the first piece of software I've shipped publicly, thanks to the help of Claude Fable, the AI model by Anthropic. I hope it is useful for you.
