The short version
Pray For Them doesn't collect your information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no trackers, and no servers. Everything you put into the app stays on your phone.
Pray For Them is made by Hako Systems Inc. This policy explains what information the app handles and what happens to it. It's short, because the honest answer to almost every privacy question is: we never see your data at all.
What Pray For Them stores, and where
For the app to work, it keeps a small amount of information on your device only:
- The names or labels you add to your prayer list
- Your prayer streak and the time of your last prayer
- Your settings, including which apps you've chosen to lock
This information lives in the app's private storage on your phone. It is never transmitted to Hako Systems or to anyone else; Pray For Them has no server to send it to. If you delete the app, this information is deleted with it.
Like any iOS app, the app's local data may be included in the device backups you control (iCloud or computer backups). Those backups are managed by Apple and by you, under Apple's privacy policy.
App locking and Screen Time
Pray For Them locks apps using Apple's built-in Screen Time technology (the Family Controls framework). Apple designed this system so that apps like Pray For Them never learn which apps you select: your selection is handled by iOS itself and is not readable by us. You can revoke the app's Screen Time permission at any time in your iPhone's Settings.
What we don't do
- No accounts or sign-ups: we never ask for your name, email, or phone number
- No analytics or tracking SDKs of any kind
- No advertising, and no ad networks
- No selling, sharing, or renting of data: we hold nothing to sell
- No network connection required: the app works entirely offline
On the App Store, the app's privacy label is "Data Not Collected."
Diagnostics
Pray For Them includes no crash-reporting or analytics tools of its own. If you have chosen to share diagnostics with app developers in iOS Settings (Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may make anonymized crash reports available to us. That sharing is controlled entirely by you and Apple, and it never includes your prayer list or anything you've typed into Pray For Them.
Children
Pray For Them does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how Pray For Them handles information, we'll update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect. Given what Pray For Them is, we don't expect this policy to get longer.
The app vs. this website
Everything above is about the app. The website you're reading is a simple static site hosted on Netlify; like any web host, Netlify's servers see standard technical logs when pages are requested. The site itself sets no cookies, runs no analytics or trackers, and serves everything, fonts included, from prayforthem.app.
